2017

Dec 10 6 puppies born to NZ Gr Ch Boulderbrae Chobe (Flek) and Ujamaa Puppy Galore (Chilli). Photos of the pups at 4 weeks here.

October 29th Allie is now known as Aust Ch Ujamaa Alessandra Facchinetti having gained her title with a 13 point BOB at the Euroa show. Now time to retire for the summer!

October 7th. At her second show Winx knocked off her mother and Derrick for a 10 point BOB at the Seymour show.

Sept 28th. Allie was Reserve Challenge Bitch at the Royal Show today and her daughter Winx took out Baby Puppy of Breed. BOB was Sup Ch Nambala Acopie, Runner up and Bitch CC Ch Sahwira Sanaa. Reserve Dog Ch Etosha Uatu of the Asgard.

May 20 - Final stacked photos as the little guys start to go to their new homes here. Though Winx looks like she is staying! This has been a lovely litter. Thanks to Willemijn Pronk from the Netherlands for allowing us to bring in semen from her boy Int Ch Vizara Jukati. It was all worth it!

May 7. Photos at 6 weeks here. It was a cold day- they all look a bit like Sydney Harbour Bridge, but not too bad for a first try at stacking. With thanks to Cat Glenn!

April 7th. Photos of the pups mainly taken today here- Allies pups week2. Some with a "real camera" and some playing with the iPhone portrait function. And great news that Red's son Ch Schlau Spirit Warrior took out Best of Breed and the Sydney Royal. Well done Sharon!

March 25th. 6M and 4 F were born to Allie , sire the dutch dog Multi Ch Vizara Jukati. If you have prebooked, please get in touch with me as these pups are probably all spoken for. Also later in 2017 we are planning a litter with Ujamaa Pussy Galore (Chilli). Sire to be NZ Gr Ch Boulderbrae Chobe- the delightful Flek.

March 18/19. Wonderful results at the National Speciality show held in Melbourne, judge Ann Woodrow (UK). Allie's sister Ujamaa Dolce Gabbana (Tully) owned by Mandy Boyle and Kay Allen won BEST IN SHOW. Thanks to Kay and Mandy for having faith in the light wheaten! Not to be outdone our own Derrick took out 3rd in a large Open Dog class. He was then knocked off for Best Brown nose by Fran Parsons bitch Ch Ujamaa Rooi Adaeze. (We forgive you Fran!). Rooi also took out Best Ridge bitch and third in Neuter. Tullys brother Ujamaa Max Mara also did us proud with a 5th in Intermediate dog

2016

Sept- Allie's sister Ujamaa Giorgio Armani takes out BISS at the RR Club of WA Speciality under specialist Dawn Redman. Congratulations to Marie Hall!

June/July- Russ and I attended the World Congress for Rhodesian Ridgebacks in Scandanavia. Links to some of the presentations here

June 2016. Allie took out Best of Breed Ridgeback and Australian Bred in Group under breed Specialist Leslie Fairhall. She did well in 2016 with limited showing

2015

September- One of our rare show outings. Allie (Ujamaa Alessandra Facchinetti) was awarded Reserve Challenge Bitch at the Royal Melbourne Show from the Puppy Class

11 Jan- We visited Meg and Rob at Valleyfront Ridgebacks (Monengetta) to see the pups from Derrick and their bitch Red. This is Derricks first litter- 8M, 4F, one faulty ridge (perhaps one crown?). Photos here. Inquires to Meg or Rob- 5429 5561, there may still be some males available. There are no pups planned at Ujamaa until later in 2015

However, our primary objective is to breed sound companions.
