Current litter plans involve breeding Allie to Multi Ch Vizara Jukati early in 2017. Also in 2017 we are planning a litter with Ujamaa Pussy Galore (Chilli). Sire TBA.

June/July- Russ and I attended the World Congress for Rhodesian Ridgebacks in Scandanavia. Links to some of the presentations here

June 2016. Allie took out Best of Breed Ridgeback and Australian Bred in Group under breed Specialist Leslie Fairhall.


September- One of our rare show outings. Allie (Ujamaa Alessandra Facchinetti) was awarded Reserve Challenge Bitch at the Royal Melbourne Show from the Puppy Class

11 Jan- We visited Meg and Rob at Valleyfront Ridgebacks (Monengetta) to see the pups from Derrick and their bitch Red. This is Derricks first litter- 8M, 4F, one faulty ridge (perhaps one crown?). Photos here. Inquires to Meg or Rob- 5429 5561, there may still be some males available. There are no pups planned at Ujamaa until later in 2015


20 Dec. A rare show outing with our new puppy Allie (RUBIS MBISS CH Ujamaa Pure Blonde) to MBIS RUBISS Sup Ch Mieridge Gatsbys Aplawz) saw Allie take out Runner up BOB and Reserve CC bitch and Minor Puppy in Group at the Yarra Valley Kennel Club. The judge was breed Specialist Cyndy Burton (Starridge). More about Allie here!

17 May Blondie (RUBIS MBISS CH Ujamaa Pure Blonde) was bred to MBIS RUBISS Sup Ch Mieridge Gatsbys Aplawz. A lovely litter of 5M and 7F was born on 17th May 2014, all ridged, very nice litter. 5 week photos here

Blondie finished 2013 as the winner of the All Breeds Pointscore in Australia in the Dogzonline competition- despite only going to 5 shows! Her best win was Runner up Best in Show at the 2013 Australia Day Show under breed specialist Mr F Arniella from Puerto Rico (entry of over 1000 dogs)


23rd Nov Blondie took out Best Bitch, Best Gaited Bitch at the RRCV Open show today. Fran's Rooi was Best Headed Bitch, Best Overall Ridge and Best Brown nosed bitch. Congratulations to BIS Ch Dinizulu True Blue and RUBIS Ch Kimbisha Making Magic

25th September- Blondie was best Australian Bred Bitch at the 2013 Royal Melbourne Show. Congratulations to BOB Ch, US and Can Ch Amashutu Force BWith You.

Milla has been to visit BISS Kushika Secret Intention TD ET and we are hoping for pups late in October

5th September- a litter of 6f and 3m born to Roxy and the lovely Kobe (Sup Ch Mieridge Gatsbys Aplawz (AI)). Born by caesarian section as Roxy was working very hard for no reward (perhaps it was the 700g boy?). Photos here. Pedigree here. All pups with nice ridges, lovely colour, quality litter!

1st June. Blondies 3rd show for the year. She took out Runner up BOB under breed specialist John Comerford. BOB and Best in Group was Ch Kimbisha Making Magic (the "dog-in-law" as sire of Tombi's pups). After only 3 shows Blondie still leads the Dogzonline All Breeds Pointscore for 2013

16/17 March. Blondie took out Runner up Best in Specialty show under breed specialist Petra Stracke (Germany). Best in Show was Sup Ch Elangani Dream Run. Blondie is now RUBIS, MBISS, RUBIS Ch Ujamaa Pure Blonde!

28th January and Blondie took out Runner up BIS under breed Specialist Mr F Arniella from Puerto Rico. This is one of the largest shows on the calendar in this state, so we were very pleased, particularly as we hadn't been to a show since last November! Still waiting on the "official" photos! In the meantime week 7 photos of the pups here. Poor little Xanadu had to have a couple of stitches in his nose and is now wearing a very attractive head dress!



Blondie has won BEST IN SHOW and Best Gaited Bitch at the South Australian Ridgeback Club Speciality Show under specialist Dawn Redman. Runner up in Show was Kimbisha Making Magic.
