Rekaylahn Kwa Red at Ujamaa, ROM (Imp UK)

We would like to thank Kay and Reg Bean of Rekaylahn (UK, previously various parts of Africa) for sending us "Red", a delightful companion! He was chosen for his quality European bloodlines, and lives on in his progeny. In 13 litters Red never produced a ridgeless pup and has been tested RR- does not carry the gene for ridgeless. He produced over 12 Champions to qualify for his Register of Merit (ROM) as a stud dog.

Sadly we lost our beautiful dog on Black Saturday, Feb 7th 2009 at Marysville. We hope to have our last litter from Red at the end of 2020

Shown infrequently, Red has won

Best Headed Dog at the 2006 National Specialty Show and more recently

"Best Ridge Dog" at the 2007 Victorian Specialty Show

His pedigree features:

• Sire- UK Ch Gunthwaite Action Man (Freddie). Reserve Crufts CC under Jack Selby, Sire of 2004 Crufts BOB and other champion stock in the UK and Ireland

• Dam- Vizara Hluhluwe Rekaylahn from the Dutch Vizara kennel which has produced Multi Ch Vizara Dazi Yardena (Crufts BOB 2001- Red's Grandma) and her brother UK Ch Vizara Shemesh of Shabani (Crufts BOB 2000)

• Grandsire Multi Ch Makamo Delle Cime Bianche also brings in the cream of European breeding with dogs such as Multi Ch Makaranga Famous Chaka on his pedigree
